Irish seascape print | Rain over Portrush | Polly Gribben

I found this a wonderful painting to paint full of drama and light and colour.  I was standing at the Giant's Causeway visitors centre and saw distant rainclouds over Dunluce and Portrush.  The sea almost seemed to be lit from within as the dramatic light bounced off its surface.  Out of the picture and to the left was of course the beautiful town of Portballintrae. My eye focused on the far distant Portrush hence how this painting got its name.  The sky and weather patterns make this coastline so interesting!
This print measures 8x8inch and comes mounted giving an overall size of 12x12 inches.
