Irish seascape fine art card | The Skerries from Portballintrae | Polly Gribben

I have a fascination with islands! Perhaps its an imagined peace and tranquility - the isolation - a feeling of adventure...or perhaps just chasing the light on a distant shore.  I have painted The Skerries many times in Portrush, but this is a new perspective I discovered from Portballintrae.  The light was giving them a wonderful luminance.
