‘Two Puffins’ Seabird Greetings Card

This image is from my linocut design of two puffins.  A highlight of the summer is visiting them at the RSPB reserve on Rathlin Island to see the puffin colony.  They are so distinctive with their flat-sided heads and large colourful bills.  They choose a mate for life, sadly their numbers have declined dramatically over recent years. People who like my work love wildlife, coastal walks, the sea, nature, seabirds, sea swimming, the great outdoors.
In my making process I carve the design out of linoleum or Japanese vinyl, roll it up with ink and hand print it.  Card size 135 x 135mm, white envelope 140 x 140mm, cello wrapped for protection.  Blank for your message and is printed in the U.K.
